26 May The Driffield Schools Education Day
We were pleased to support this event, dedicated to educating the next generation all about food and farming.

The Schools Education Day held annually in May is specifically aimed at upper Key Stage 2 children (aged 9 to 11 years) at primary schools based in the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull.
Since the event started in 2016, over 1,500 children enjoy a hands-on, interactive day of learning each year.
More than 70 organisations illustrated different aspects of farming, food production and the countryside throughout the day. Working machinery is on hand in the main ring with livestock completing the experience for both learner and teacher.
Thanks to Joice and Hill for hatching such cute and lively chicks for us. They were a massive hit with the children!
